Evolution?

I thought of a new way to look at the killing of a spider.

What if there really is reincarnation and that spider is slated to be an eagle, or a human, or a panda next? I just upgraded his life.

Maybe he's a very enlightened spider and his good deeds, and ability to follow his destiny have brought him into my home so that I would put him out of his spider-world misery.

I may be a part of something so much bigger than me. Who am I to retard the universe's evolutionary plan by making it all about me?

 Killing the set of spiders that I kill in my lifetime could be my sole purpose on this planet.
